Title: Visceral Therapy - Part 1 (Upper Gastroesophageal Tract)


Course program- part 1 focus on those inner organs - Stomach, Duodenum, Liver, Gallbladder, Sphincters.


  • Knowledges about lasts evidence in science and literature.

  • Neurophysiological and pathophysiological mechanism of visceral organ pathologies, their etiology.

  • Neural and structural mechanisms of viscerosomatic connections and somatovisceral connections.

  • Structural relationships between the viscera, and their fascial or ligamentous attachments to the musculoskeletal system.

  • Links between somatic structures, such as the muscles and joints, the sympathetic nervous system, the visceral organs, the spinal cord and the brain.

  • Different diagnosis of visceral and somatic disorders – main characteristics.

  • Viscerosomatic presentation on musculoskeletal system - joint blockades, Head zones, hyperalgesia zones (HAZ).

  • Visceral pathologies caused by functional disorders.

  • Viscera mobility and motility


Part 2 focus on those innerr organs: Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Sigmoid Loop, Peritoneum, Kidneys, Pancreas, Ureter, Uterus, Prostate, Ovaries, Pelvic Floor Relaxation Techniques, Diaphragmatic Relaxation Techniques


Pasniedzējs: Mgr. Lukaš Kasala (Charles University, 2th medical faculty, department of rehabilitation and Sport Medicine, pasniedzējs studiju priekšmetā “Special Physiotherapy concepts and methods”; “RehaThink” pasniedzējs Latvijā un Slovākijā).
